You may alternatively choose text on a grey background that can be kinder on the eyes.

For both options you may choose whether to have coloured headers or not.

NW00116 Blelham Tarn and Wray Castle, Hawkshead (19.22 miles)

Park for horseboxes and Trailers is in a Layby on Hawkshead road near Outgate, marked with a P on OS map. Route is a mix of road, bridleways and permitted bridleway. Route well signed some steep bits, but all doable. If riding a a horse best to do the route anti clockwise, so you go up the hill near Latterbarrow woods. Good cafe at Wray Castle. Route by Windermere shore does get busy with people. Route can be made longer or shorter. THis route is about 10 miles long.
