A 12 mile circular ride, further information available from the Blackdown Hills website, click here. Clockwise Directions. Take the green lane and then turn right at the road and follow it turning left around and down the hill, across the stream and

Fork right at the bridleway junction and follow the marked bridleway uphill and round to the left, past Fairview Farm to the road.

Turn sharp right up the road, turn right at the T junction and follow for 1.5 miles past Gullyhayes to the next T junction.

Turn right then right again at the next T junction and next fork left to follow the road down to Upottery.

Turn right at the village and next left behind the pub, keep left and follow road, becoming unmetallled for about 0.5 mile.

Turn right at the T junction and keep right, following the green laneand fording the River Otter (may not be passable at times), continue along the green lane, then right onto the road til next junction.

Cross the junction then turn left at the main Upottery to Rawbridge Road, watch for traffic.

Turn next right, across River Otter past Budgells Farm, then sharp left and pass between Odle and Tanahiort Farms and follow until it becomes a green lane and starts descending.

Continue onto the bridleway through the gates and past Mohuns Ottery onto small metalled road. Turn right at Pounds Farm and onto Beacon.

Go straight on at Beacon, keeping right through the common land and uphill to complete the circular.
