Ride down Vattingstone Lane. away from Aveston. Take first left, on bend, towards Old Down Country Park. At crossroads tum left and in approximately one mile take bridleway on right to Stroud Common, before Alveston. After gate into common, turn lett downhill and ride down steep path to Lower Hazel. Turn lett at roadway and immediately lett into Green Hill Lane (track). Follow the track, then at the next road turn left, then right along Davids Lane to A38.

CAUTION! Waypoint 1
VERY BUSY ROAD. TRAFFIC LIGHTS SHORT DISTANCE TO LEFT. CROSS WITH CARE into Shellards Lane. Follow thew lane towards Tytherington, passing under the M5 motorway. At T-junction turn left and at next junction bear right towards Tytherington. Take bridleway on left by cottage and follow through to Brook Farm, Turn right at road into Tytherington.

left and immediately right up New Road, and across Baden Hill crossroads to motorway bridge. Immediately after the bridge tum left along bridleway. Follow the bridlepath, and then road to Buckover. Turn left past Wyevale Garden Centre towards the A38.

CAUTION! Waypoint 3
VERY FAST ROAD. CROSS WITH CARE to road opposite and to the lett (known as The Hacket)_ Ride down hill, bear left at the Chapel and right into Moreton Way. FAST ROAD! CROSS OVER WITH CARE to the Wide grass verge, and ride down to the B4061, Cross over into Butt Lane (FAST ROAD), turn right where road bends to left. DANGEROUS CROSSING, TAKE CARE. Ride following signs to Lower Morton. At Lower Morton, turn left down Duckhole Lane and go to the very end.

Go through gate and turn left across field (may be wet), passing to the right Of derelict buildings (partially hidden in undergrowth)_ Pass through a gate across the field, bearing left in next field to a gate at the far end. Turn right onto track. At end ot track turn left and at cross roads turn right towards Oldbury , Power Station.
