Ruby Rides Route 4 - Village and Lakeside Trail (19.5km) Print

Ruby Country is a rural area in north west Devon, enclosed by the North Devon AONB, Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and the north Cornwall coast, covering the 45 parishes surrounding Holsworthy and Hatherleigh.

RBW-402 Waypoint
Turn left at Headson Cross for 1 3/4 miles to Bratton Clovelly RBW-403 Waypoint
Turn right at the junction near the Clovelly Inn RBW-404 Waypoint
Turn left along the road signed Boasley and South Reed Fisheries, continue for 1/3 mile RBW-405 Waypoint
Turn left on to the a public bridleway for 2 miles, passing Voaden and Blackbroom RBW-407 Waypoint
Turn left, signed Bratton Clovelly and continue for 2/3 mile RBW-408 Waypoint
Take the public bridleway on the right hand side and cross Brocks Moor Field. Cross straight over the lane continuing on the public bridleway RBW-409 Waypoint
Where the public bridleway meets a road, follow the road straight on (not the bridleway) for 1 1/4 miles, passing Southweek and ending at a junction RBW-410 Waypoint
At the road junction, turn left and then take the public bridleway immediately on the right hand side. Follow the public bridleway along the edge of Roadford Lake for 3/4 mile RBW-411 Waypoint
Turn left where the public bridleway runs along a lane, cross straight over the road, continuing on the public bridleway for 2/3 mile until you come to a junction RBW-412 Waypoint
At the junction with another public bridleway turn right and follow the bridleway through the yard of North Breazle Farm. Continue to follow the bridleway along the farm track back to the road RBW-413 Waypoint
Turn right along the road and then immeadiately left to return to the Forest car park
