Ystradowen & Ton Breigam Waypoint 1
Much of this route is through tree lined lanes with bridlegates on one section, some sections are steep and in places can be muddy. The route is a mix of country lanes and restricted byways (RB). Please be aware of traffic. There are no designated car parks along the route and opportunities to park are very limited. Please park carefully so as not to obstruct traffic or gateways. Leave Ystradowen heading westwards on the road which passes The White Lion and St Owwains Church. Turn right and follow the green lane up hill, keeping to the left as the lane forks. At the road, turn left.

At the T junction, turn right (this road can be rather busy) and then take first left. At the cross roads, go straight ahead on to the grassy lane.
Ystradowen & Ton Breigam Waypoint 3
Turn left at the road, then after 400m go throught the bridlegate on the left beside a set of large metal gates which lead top Argoed Isha Quarry. Continue parallel to the Quarry acess road to the top of the field. Turn right, riding along the top edge of the field to pass through a bridlegate leading onto a green lane.

At the road, turn right down hill, going straight ahead passing Llansannor Court and keep straight ahead again as the road forks. As the road turns sharp left, follow the green lane straight ahead.

At the cross roads, go straight over, then left at the next junction. This road will bring you back to the lane into Ystradowen village.
