Pennington Flash (4.2 miles )This is not a long ride, but it is all off road along very easy bridleways. Please park in the small lay bye just before the height barrier and phone the warden for admission / exit. There are toilets and a "Buttie Wagon" at the opposite end of the car park. It is possible to extend the ride into Bickershaw old open cast mines.
